Delete Your Account and Data
We believe you should have absolute control over your personal footprint. If you no longer wish to use Mirronet, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the app.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Account deletion is an irreversible action. When you initiate a deletion request, the following data is permanently erased from our active servers:
- Your profile, username, and uploaded photos.
- Your complete location history (Footprints) and Safe Zone configurations.
- All direct messages and social posts.
- Your Guardian network connections.
Active Subscriptions
Deleting your Mirronet account does not automatically cancel your Premium subscription if you purchased it through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel the subscription in your device's native settings to avoid future charges.
How to Delete Your Account
You can initiate the deletion of your account and your personal data at any time through your privacy settings.
- Open the Mirronet app and navigate to your Dashboard.
- Scroll down and tap Privacy Settings.
- Tap Account & Security.
- Select Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- You will be asked to re-enter your password or use biometric authentication to confirm your identity.
- Tap Permanently Delete Account.
Data Retention Policy
Once you confirm deletion, you will immediately be logged out, and your profile will become invisible to all other users. It may take up to 30 days for your encrypted location data to be completely purged from our secure backup servers, in compliance with standard data protection regulations.
