Unblock an account
Learn how to view your blocked list, unblock users, and manage your privacy settings on the Mirronet platform.
Unblock an account
When you unblock someone on Mirronet, they will once again be able to see your public posts, search for your profile, and send you direct messages.
If you previously had a Guardian or Safe Zone connection with this user, you will need to establish those connections again, as blocking someone permanently severs all background tracking and safety ties.
How to unblock a user
You can manage your blocked accounts directly from your app settings. Follow these steps to restore a user's access:
- Open the Mirronet app and navigate to your Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Security & Privacy section and tap Privacy Settings.
- Under the Social & Safety header, tap Blocked Accounts.
- You will see a list of all currently blocked users. Locate the person you wish to unblock.
- Tap on their name and confirm the unblock action when prompted.
Restoring Connections
Unblocking an account does not automatically add that person back to your Friends list or your Family Safety Hub. If you wish to resume sharing locations or safe zone check-ins, you must send them a new request.
What happens after you unblock someone?
Once the unblock is successful, the following restrictions are lifted immediately:
- Visibility: The user can view your profile and any posts you share publicly or with friends (if you re-add them).
- Communication: The user can send you direct messages and call you through the app.
- Search: Your profile will appear in their search results again.
Please note that any messages or comments that were hidden or deleted while the account was blocked will not be restored.
